What we grow
We primarily grow several varieties of tomato, pepper, and herb seedlings, from seed. We also propagate strawberry plants and wave petunia baskets.

Where we grow them
We grow all our plants in our greenhouses, behind our main office (pictured below, left) and at The Outpost, our greenhouse property at Charleston and Zuni (below, right).
How we grow them
Preparations and the first seeding start in January. We being by mixing potting soil and our homemade compost.
We start the seeds inside on heating mats and under lights. Peppers like soil temperatures of 80-85 degrees, and take 7-10 days (or often longer) to germinate.
Once the seedlings are established (2-3 weeks), we transplant them into individual containers and put them in our green houses. Morgan seeds and transplants up to 12 successive plantings of peppers, tomatoes and herbs, in order to consistently have plants at the optimal size throughout the spring.
We care for them in our greenhouses until they are ready to sell, sometime in mid-April.
